Le Lounge

At the heart of an office building, this café-restaurant acts as a real communal area, welcoming large numbers of workers in the district. In a highly organic approach, this new site is a breath of fresh air in the working day. Maud Caubet Architectes opted for recycled industrial material and re-used vintage furnishings. Using panels of OSB wood, which become acoustic panels suspended from the partition furnishings for a unified look, the architect has made this café-restaurant a multi-use area for meetings, training sessions, coaching or a simple lunch break.
