ORIGINE: Campus Défense à Nanterre

ORIGINE_Panorama-copie

With its reef-inspired lines, Origine, a three-unit programme combining housing, a crèche and shops/offices, puts nature at the heart of Paris’s La Défense business district. Spread over more than 150,000 m², this programme took on the technical challenge of innovating the use of wood in architecture to create a modern 8-storey concrete and wood building, and similarly designed interior and landscaping. The lobby, a wink at New York’s Guggenheim and the beating heart of the project, is an iconic image with its zenithal light.

A resolute environmental tester, Origine is certified Wired Score Platinum and strives towards the HQE, BREEAM, LEED, BIODIVERCITY and E3 C2 labels.
