Science 14

A large 35-metre-tall atrium distributes disparate buildings within the business district. Maud Caubet Architectes wished to give back the luxuriance of an inner garden to a lunar, mineral and cold space. The façade is protected by the green system installed over a 10 cm air gap. Adorned with this living skin and enjoying the light provided by the windows fitted with white blinds, the site is transformed into a genuine covered patio, sheltered from the Northern climate. The result is a giant with an intimate feel.
